Cows Eat Potato Chips and M&M's

Ninety percent of cows are factory farmed and are force fed corn. With the price of corn skyrocketing, farmers are looking for cheaper was to feed cattle. The Wall Street Journal produced this video that shows what cows are being fed (potato chips and M&Ms!!!!). Hopefully this will wake up some people and get them to seek out grass fed beef.

My favorite part of the video is where the cattle rancher states that he's never tasted grass fed beef. Cows are built to digest grass, not corn. I've never seen ads for the dairy industry where cows are roaming around corn fields... the ads always depict cows in green pastures.

What in the world......I'm glad we have a great source of local grass-feed beef. I think I'll pass this video on for others to see. Thanks!

Erica, thanks for passing the video along. I love the title of your blog "One Busy Mama". By the looks of those canned veggies, you are in fact one busy mama!

PS - That's a great header image on your blog of your boy!
